A name (ネーム, nemu) is the rough storyboard a manga artist draws before any real pages: every page, every panel, stick-figure acting and the dialogue scribbled in. It’s where you find out whether the chapter works, while changing it still costs minutes instead of days.
This pack gives you a complete issue to plan on. There’s a 20-page weekly chapter and a 32-page one-shot, and every page is pre-laid with a panel layout that suits its place in the story: an opening that grabs, establishing pages, conversation pages, action, a double-page spread, and a last page that makes the reader want the next chapter.
Manga is read in spreads, and the turn of the page is your best storytelling tool. Each sheet shows two facing pages exactly as the reader sees them. Red markers show where to plant a hook at the bottom of a page, and where the reveal lands after the turn. The flatplan puts the whole issue on one sheet so you can see the rhythm at a glance.
The manga edition reads right to left, with odd pages on the left, the way Japanese books are bound. The western edition is mirrored for left-to-right comics. Both come in A4 and US Letter, as spreads or single pages, and the frames use real B4 manuscript proportions, so your name scales straight up to full-size pages.
The panel layouts are light grey suggestions. Draw over them, move them, or ignore them: it’s your story. Blank sheets are included for when your chapter needs more pages.
